Allied Health Assistant

Allied Health Therapist with a background in psychology, supporting neurodivergent children and young people through strengths-based, trauma-aware and neuro-affirming care.

A Little About Me

Hello! My name is Hajar. I am an allied health assistant with a Bachelor of Psychology and a passion for supporting neurodivergent children and young people to thrive! I have worked across school, community, and wellbeing settings, supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, learning delays and trauma backgrounds.

‍

These experiences have shaped my compassionate, curious and strengths based approach to understanding behaviour as communication and tailoring support to each young person's individual needs. I draw on evidence based, trauma aware and neuro-affirming practices to support emotional regulation, skill development and meaningful participation in daily life. I strongly believe that every child has unique strengths and I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where they feel valued and understood.

‍

I am committed to collaborative and holistic care and enjoy working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to create practical, consistent and sustainable support plans. My goal is to empower each young person to build confidence, independence and wellbeing in their everyday lives.
