Developmental education supports individuals and families to better understand developmental differences and build practical skills that support wellbeing, learning and meaningful participation in everyday life.
By working within real-life environments, developmental educators help develop strategies, routines and adaptations that are relevant, sustainable and aligned with each person’s goals. Support may include direct sessions, observation, education, strategy development and collaboration with families, carers and support networks.

Clients are not present during the administration portion of the session.
The first appointment focuses on understanding strengths, needs, goals and priorities. From there, an individualised support plan is developed in collaboration with the individual and their support network.
